So steht nun, eure Lenden umgürtet mit Wahrheit, und angetan mit dem Brustpanzer der Gerechtigkeit, und die Füße gestiefelt mit Bereitwilligkeit, die Frohe Botschaft des Friedens zu verkündigen. Bei dem allen aber ergreift den Schild des Glaubens, mit welchem ihr alle feurigen Pfeile des Bösewichts auslöschen könnt. Und nehmt den Helm des Heils und das Schwert des Geistes, nämlich das Wort Gottes." (Epheser 6:13-17) Die Bibel lehrt, dass du und ich als Gläubige das Feld besetzt halten sollen, bis Jesus wiederkommt. "Besetzen" ist ein militärischer Ausdruck und bedeutet, die eroberten Truppen und Gebiete in Besitz zu behalten oder zu überwachen. Wenn wir das erfolgreich tun wollen, dann müssen die meisten von uns ihre Verhaltensweisen ändern. Wir werden anerkennen müssen, dass Jesus den Sieg bereits errungen hat. Das ist Tatsache. Satan ist bereits besiegt. Er wurde auf Golgatha niedergestreckt. Nicht wir sind in der Defensive, sondern er! Außerdem hat dir Jesus Seine ganz persönliche Waffenrüstung und Sein Schwert gegeben, damit du diesen besiegten Teufel in Schranken halten kannst. Du selbst magst vielleicht nur 45 Kilogramm wiegen, doch wenn du Gottes Waffenrüstung anziehst, dann wird sich der Teufel nicht mehr auskennen. Er wird vor dir fliehen, so, als ob du Jesus wärst. Denke darüber nach! Was würdest du tun, wenn du der Teufel wärst und dich von Angesicht zu Angesicht einem Kerl gegenübersähest, der Gottes Waffenrüstung und Gottes Helm trägt und in jeder Hand Gottes Waffen hält? So lange er alleine Gottes Wort spricht, dächtest du, dass Gott in dieser Rüstung stecken muss. Missachte keinen der dir gegebenen Rüstungsgegenstände. Trage sie alle! Halte den Teufel in der Defensive - und behalte das Feld, bis Jesus kommt! Schriftstellenhinweis: Lukas 12:35-44

Harvest Always Comes Today's Scripture “Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant” (Galatians 6:7, NLT). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Have you ever looked at a large, old tree and wondered how long it has been there? It’s amazing to think that, at one point, that gigantic tree was merely a tiny seed. In the same way, our words and actions are seeds; and we will always reap a harvest on what we sow. What are you sowing into the lives around you? What are you sowing into your future? Are you sowing encouragement, hope, blessing, love? Then that’s what you’ll reap in the future. But if you’ve been sowing criticism, judgment, and anger, you’re probably already reaping a bad harvest. It’s time to start changing your seed. Pray and ask God to help you uproot those negative seeds and begin to sow good seeds for your future. Keep the light of God’s Word shining on your seed by speaking His Word. Allow the refreshing water of His Spirit to pour over you. Keep planting those good seeds of faith because soon you’ll see growth and enjoy the harvest of blessing God promises. A Prayer for Today Father in heaven, I choose to guard my heart and plant good seeds for my future. Help me, by Your Spirit, to say and do things that honor You. Use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today's Word with Joel an Victoria I Can See Today's Scripture “I don’t know whether he is a sinner,” the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!” (John 9:25). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Jesus healed a blind man and the religious crowd got all upset. They started arguing over why he was healed, and how he was healed, and who was to blame for him being blind in the first place. They were hounding the man with questions. Finally, the man said, “Listen, guys. You all are confusing me. I can’t answer all of your questions. All I can tell you is this; I was blind, but now I can see.” He was saying, in effect, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. He was saying, “You can argue all day long, but I know the reason I can see is because of God’s healing in my life.” There are people today who don’t think we are supposed to be blessed. They don’t think that God wants us to prosper and live in victory. But it’s too late to convince me because I’ve already experienced His blessing. He’s already prospered me. He’s already opened up supernatural doors. And a person with an experience is never at the mercy of a person with an argument. Some people don’t believe that God can still heal. But it’s too late to convince me. I’ve already seen how God healed my mother of terminal cancer in 1981. Some people don’t think that your dreams can come to pass. It’s too late to convince me. I see people live their dreams every day. I’ve seen God do more than I could even ask or think. And I believe He will do the same for you! A Prayer for Today Father in heaven, thank You for opening the eyes of my heart so that I can, first of all, see You and see every good thing You have in store for me. I look to You with an attitude of faith and expectancy. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
