Joy Unspeakable - Twenty-Four Hours A Day!
Pastor Chris

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory
(1 Peter 1:7-8).

Some people go about looking gloomy, tired and confused. Ask them what the matter is and they'd say, "I really don't seem to understand myself today." Such people unwittingly carry on all through the day with a gloomy and restless attitude, oblivious of the fact that a demon may have been responsible for such mood swings. Demons attach themselves to human beings to make them restless, confused, sad and depressed.

This is why you must never give in to sadness or depression. Instead, always allow the joy of the Lord well up in your heart. Be full of joy always! In John 15:11, Jesus said, "These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." In other words, the Lord's utmost desire is for His joy to be in you twenty-four hours a day, irrespective of the circumstances you face. He has given you joy that isn't dependent on the happenings around you; joy that flows from your spirit and rubs off on everything else around you. That's what the Bible describes as joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8).

The way to activate the joy of the Lord in you is by declaring faith-filled words. When you're faced with challenging or unpleasant situations, instead of wondering what to do and what the problem is, shout: "I refuse to be confused, depressed or restless! I rejoice in Christ Jesus!" Don't yield to the devil's schemes, for he's only out to steal your joy. Don't snap at people and tell them to leave you alone at such moments.

Don't start crying because you feel the world has turned against you. That's when to say, "No devil! The Bible says, "In nothing be anxious; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Therefore, I refuse to be anxious, depressed or confused, because I live in that high realm of life where I experience joy unspeakable and full of glory, twenty-four hours a day!" Hallelujah!

Confession

The joy of the Lord is my strength, and I rejoice in the Lord today, for He has filled my life with His goodness. I refuse to be perturbed about anything for I know that all things work together for my good. The devil has no place in me and my life is free of worry, sadness and depression, because the joy of the Lord abides in me in all fullness.
